Emory Chinese Student Association
The Emory Chinese Student Association (ECSA or EmoryCSA) is a student organization dedicated to supporting Chinese students at Emory University and promoting cultural exchange on campus. Through community events, cultural celebrations, and collaborative programs, ECSA fosters connection, understanding, and a sense of belonging among students from diverse backgrounds.

ECSA is a Recognized Student Organization at Emory University. We proudly represent the Chinese student community while adhering to the university’s policies and values. As one of the largest and most active cultural organizations on campus, ECSA continues to strengthen the bond between Emory and its Chinese student community.

Organizational Beliefs
Since its establishment in 1998, the Emory Chinese Student Association has upheld its core mission of serving Chinese students and fostering cultural exchange. Over the years, it has grown into one of the largest and most structurally complete Chinese student organizations at Emory University.
We are committed to providing support and platforms across various domains—including cultural heritage, career development, academic exchange, and campus life—while fostering a community atmosphere of mutual assistance and collective growth.
As the most influential and comprehensive Chinese student organization at Emory, ECSA remains devoted to its mission of serving students, preserving cultural traditions, and facilitating personal and communal development. It seeks to build a solid bridge for mutual understanding and trust between Chinese and American cultures.

Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion
While the Emory Chinese Student Association primarily serves Chinese students and students of Chinese heritage, as a Recognized Student Organization (RSO) at Emory University, it upholds the core values of diversity, inclusion, and equality. We welcome the participation of full-time students from all backgrounds, and we are fully committed to the following anti-discrimination principles within the organization and in all external events:
The Association shall not discriminate in its recruitment, event planning, or daily operations on the basis of race, color, religion, ethnicity or national origin, sex, genetic information, age, physical disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, or veteran status.
The Emory Chinese Student Association fully supports and complies with the Revised Executive Order 11246, Section 503 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, the Vietnam Era Veterans' Readjustment Assistance Act, and all other applicable federal and state equal opportunity and anti-discrimination laws and policies.
